LunaHost's Signup & Service Policy

When you sign up for any LunaHost service, you agree that you understand that all services are to be paid for in advance and that you have read, have understood and will adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy.

Payments and Fees
All accounts are due in advance (on your month or annual anniversary) on the same day you originally activated your selected service (your due date).  As a courtesy, payment reminders are automatically sent:

  • 7 days before your due date (for current customers only)

  • 7 days after; late notice (for both current and new customers)

  • 14 days after; suspension warning (for both current and new customers)

  • 21 days after; termination warning (for both current and new customers)

Payments not received by the 7th day following your due date will be deemed delinquent and your account will be assessed a 5% late payment penalty on the outstanding balance.  If payment is not received by the 14th day following your due date, your services will be suspended by 12:00 pm CST within the next 48 hours.  If payment has not been received by the 21st day following your due date, your account will be terminated by 12:00pm CST within the next 48 hours.  If no prior termination arrangements have been made with our billing office, your account will continue to accrue 5% late payment penalties every 30 days on the full amount due (which will include any additional service fees).

If your account is suspended, you may reactivate it by accessing the control panel and paying all current amounts due which may include additional monthly fees and late penalties.  For suspended accounts, there is a $25 reactivation fee in addition to subsequent monthly or annual fees and late penalties.  If you choose not to reactivate your account you are still responsible for your total balance due including any late fees.  Users with terminated accounts will receive a final invoice from the LunaHost Sales Department which will include instructions for reactivating your account.  Terminated accounts that are not re-activated within 30 days of the final invoice will have all system settings, site content, and mail accounts removed from our systems.

Modification

LunaHost reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any provision of this Policy at any time without notice. 

Contractual Obligations

All dedicated servers and rack space are based upon 12 month terms of use unless noted otherwise*, when you signup for service you are agreeing to lease these services from us for a period of one (1) year from the date of signup. You may cancel your dedicated server or rack space service with us under the following guidelines:

  • 30 Day Written notice via our Help Desk available within the Helm Control Panel.

  • *Certain products may be offered with a month to month contract. These contracts will require a 30 day written notice of cancellation via our Help Desk available within the Helm Control Panel.

Shared hosting and Dedicated Server accounts that are month to month require the following:

  • 30 Day Written notice via our Help Desk available within the Helm Control Panel.

Shared hosting and Dedicated Server accounts that are under development agreement plans require the following:

  • 30 Day Written notice via our Help Desk available within the Helm Control Panel.

  • Full payment of the development costs as outlined in the original
