VIOLATIONS
The work of the Deed Restriction Committee is to maintain compliance with these restrictions. If a resident is in violation and it has been reported to the office by phone, mail, or independent inspector, the Committee will investigate the claim and if valid will send a postcard to the resident and owner of the property asking them to correct the situation. If you get a notice, call the office (281) 495-7280 in less than 10 days to try to work out a reasonable solution. If there is no response to the first card, a second card will be sent. When the resident ignores the second card, the next steps will be certified letters with $80 charges each being accessed on each letter and must be paid by the homeowner or further costs with a venders lien will be placed on the property. It is important that the resident not ignore these notices, which could be resolved through phone conversation with the office or discussion with the deed restrictions committee. It is the intent of the present Board to resolve these issues by every means possible before involving expensive legal charges in a District Court. Sharon Swanson has agreed to serve as a community advocate and will help you with resolving differences with the Community Association. Call the office during regular business hours at: 281-495-7280.
